Daylight Savings Time!!!!

Daylight savings time is in 1 week and 2 days!!!  It starts Sunday March 10th!!! 

I can't wait!!!!

When it Snows.......

....it SNOWS!!!!  We got about 10-12 inches of snow Monday night/Tuesday morning, the power went out for our whole town & the surrounding towns for 2 days, it started going out Monday night. School was cancelled for the week!!!  That's 1 plus & the other plus is all the moisture we got, we've been in a drought for the past 2 years! We just got our power back on this afternoon!!! YAY!!!!!!!  Here are some pictures of all the snow & the horses.  Well, tonight the new Duck Dynasty season starts and we have power to watch it!!!!

Now we can thaw out for the rest of the week and maybe ride next week.

My New 5 Star Saddle Pad

I bought a 5 Star Equine saddle pad a couple of weeks ago and I finally was able to get pictures of it on Bida.  More info about 5 Star http://5starequineproducts.com/  I have never seen a saddle pad so soft like this one and they are made in the United Stated (another plus)  I hope every has a great weekend!

Notes:

We rode the horses today!!! Bida was laying down when we went to catch them, so I haltered her, gave her a carrot, & got on! She was licking my boot & then she got up with me on her! That's the second that she has done that since I've owned her! I also saddled Bida & rode in the arena. Bida did great!! We had a great time!!! :)

Notes:

We played in the round pen today: Circling Game, Yo-yo Game, & Friendly Game, Bida did awesome!! We then rode in the round pen bareback, I put her bridle on for the first time after she got her teeth done, and WOW I noticed a difference!! :) She did awesome!! We are planning on riding tomorrow afternoon. I love my Bida baby! :)
